Gen 2:18
18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

2:18 神である【主】は仰せられた。「人が、ひとりでいるのは良くない。わたしは彼のために、彼にふさわしい助け手を造ろう。」

Eph 5:30-33
30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

5:30 私たちはキリストのからだの部分だからです。
5:31 「それゆえ、人は父と母を離れ、その妻と結ばれ、ふたりは一体となる。」

1 Cor 3:9-15

9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 3:9 私たちは神の協力者であり、あなたがたは神の畑、神の建物です。3:10 与えられた神の恵みによって、私は賢い建築家のように、土台を据えました。そして、ほかの人がその上に家を建てています。しかし、どのように建てるかについてはそれぞれが注意しなければなりません 3:11 というのは、だれも、すでに据えられている土台のほかに、ほかの物を据えることはできないからです。その土台とはイエス・キリストです。3:12 もし、だれかがこの土台の上に、金、銀、宝石、木、草、わらなどで建てるなら、3:13 各人の働きは明瞭になります。その日がそれを明らかにするのです。というのは、その日は火とともに現れ、この火がその力で各人の働きの真価をためすからです。3:14 もしだれかの建てた建物が残れば、その人は報いを受けます。3:15 もしだれかの建てた建物が焼ければ、その人は損害を受けますが、自分自身は、火の中をくぐるようにして助かります。

Gen 2:18-25

18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23 And Adam said:

“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

2:20 人はすべての家畜、空の鳥、野のあらゆる獣に名をつけた。しかし人には、ふさわしい助け手が見つからなかった。
2:21 神である【主】は深い眠りをその人に下されたので、彼は眠った。そして、彼のあばら骨の一つを取り、そのところの肉をふさがれた。
2:22 神である【主】は、人から取ったあばら骨をひとりの女に造り上げ、その女を人のところに連れて来られた。

Matt 19:3-6

3 The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”

4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Question: “What is the Judgment Seat of Christ / Bema Seat of Christ?”

Answer: Romans 14:10-12 says, “For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat…so then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.” Second Corinthians 5:10 tells us, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” In the context, it is clear that both scriptures are referring to Christians, not unbelievers. The judgment seat of Christ, therefore, involves believers giving an account of their lives to Christ. The judgment seat of Christ does not determine salvation; that was determined by Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf (1 John 2:2) and our faith in Him (John 3:16). All of our sins are forgiven, and we will never be condemned for them (Romans 8:1). We should not look at the judgment seat of Christ as God judging our sins, but rather as God rewarding us for our lives. Yes, as the Bible says, we will have to give an account of ourselves. Part of this is surely answering for the sins we committed. However, that is not going to be the primary focus of the judgment seat of Christ.

At the judgment seat of Christ, believers are rewarded based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). Some of the things we might be judged on are how well we obeyed the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), how victorious we were over sin (Romans 6:1-4), and how well we controlled our tongues (James 3:1-9). The Bible speaks of believers receiving crowns for different things based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The various crowns are described in 2 Timothy 2:5, 2 Timothy 4:8, James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:4, and Revelation 2:10. James 1:12 is a good summary of how we should think about the judgment seat of Christ: “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”
